The Pier

Diver magazine, some time ago, called Swanage Pier one of the 10 best sites in Britain and who are we to argue.

I do know that if you ask any group of divers, at least one of them will have dived Swanage Pier. It's safe, shallow and ideal for novice divers or any diver wishing to try out new kit.

Our boats operate from the lower pier deck (light grey pontoon) which is 75 metres down the pier, on the left, beyond the dive shop.

Parking is available on the pier (if you're early enough) or adjacent to the pier. Full details about the pier can be found on the Swanage Pier website. Charges are made by the Pier Trust (a registered charity) to help maintain the pier. Air and nitrox are available from Divers Down.

If you need directions and have satellite navigation, the post code to the pier is BH19 2AW.
