The ‘Listrac’ while in company of the steam trawler ‘Warwick Deeping’ was on anti-submarine and anti-invasion duties when the two ships were shelled by German destroyers. The ‘Listrac’ took most of the damage, being shelled until she sank.

The wreck lies to starboard and is well broken. The engines are broken. The highest part of the wreck is the large single boiler.
