Sunk due to a collision in dense fog with sailing barque ‘Zadok’ whilst travelling from South Shields for Malaga.

The wreck lies mostly upright and intact as far forward as the boilers. The bow section lies to starboard. Large lumps of coal (cargo) can be found.
