The French submarine chaser ‘CH7’ was under British command (Polish command until August 1940) when she was sunk by gunfire by German warships, thought to be E-boats. She was the same class as the ‘Carentan’, although was never given a name as the names were not issued until 1941.

The wreck lies half over starboard. The wreck is badly broken and bow is largely flattened. At the stern her props almost touching as she has collapsed. The engines are exposed and leaning to starboard. Miscellaneous ordinance lie in boxes and depth charges sit in racks off the stern.
