Welcome to Swanage Boat Charters, I'm Martin, the owner of ‘Mary Jo' and ‘Sidewinder'. You will see me mostly skippering ‘Mary Jo' which is used on a daily basis throughout the season i.e. Easter through to the end of October.

I started diving in 1991 and qualified as a dive master in 1998. It was always my ambition to be a dive boat skipper. I believe I got the idea after having been on Sidewinder with Titch back in 1994.

I hold a RYA coastal skipper qualification with a commercial endorsement, which includes sea survival and first aid. In addition I am also qualified to administer O2.

I carry some spare dive kit on board which I am prepared to loan you in case of emergency. I am friendly and helpful and if there are any special requests you would like me to consider – just ask!!
